National Council of Education (CNED)

CNED develops its functions in the fulfillment of its mission to protect and promote the quality of education at all levels, within the framework of the quality assurance systems of school and higher education, through the evaluation of various educational proposals of public bodies and educational institutions and the timely delivery of information to students and their families, decision makers, academics and the community in general. In the field of research and public information, CNED supports databases, statistics and provides information on the system. In addition, it promotes and facilitates the analysis and development of research on pre-school, school and higher education; and encourages reflection on various topics of education.
