The NACTE was established with a mandate to accredit teacher education programs offered by public and private sector universities and teacher education institutions in Pakistan. Main focus of NACTE is to serve as a national resource to accredit and certify teacher education programmes based on the accreditation standards underlying the framework of the National Professional Standards for Teachers in Pakistan.
