Ministry of Education and Higher Education

Strategic objectives of the Ministry in higher education: addressing the increasing demand for higher education at all levels, and raising the enrollment rate for low socio-econmic and people with disabilities; to harmonize the outputs of higher education with the needs of the Palestinian society and the local and regional market; to raise the level of scientific research to become effective in economic and social development; quality improvement and quality control; ensure continuity of funding to cover deficit in operating, development and capital expenditure of higher education institutions; reforming and developing the management and governance of higher education at the ministry level and institutions and to promote both vocational and technical education in both quantity and quality.
