The Ministry of Education is a structure to support national policies geared towards education and science and technology systems, in order to respond to the challenges of developing a quality education and education system, centered on school success, excellence in the learning, promotion and qualification of Cape Verdeans and strengthening of science and technology as strategic axes for the development of Cape Verde.
