CAN is a body that is part of the National Accreditation System (SNA), created by Law in 1992. CNA is a body of an academic nature, linked to the Ministry of National Education, with functions of coordination, planning, recommendation and advice on the subject of accreditation of Higher Education programs and institutions in Colombia.
