BDNAC was established in 1990 by decree of His Majesty The Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam. The Council is assisted by ten (10) sub-committees whose responsibility is to assess and evaluate qualifications and to make recommendations to the Council.

CHEA's Mission

Council for Higher Education Accreditation serves its members, students, and society through advocacy for the value and

independence of accreditation, recognition of accrediting organizations and commitment to quality in higher education.
