Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU)

TCU regulatory functions are: conducting periodic evaluation of universities, their systems and programs; ensuring the orderly performance of the universities and the maintenance of the set quality standards, by providing support to universities; advising government and the general public on matters related to the higher education system in Tanzania, including program and policy formulation on higher education, and the international issues pertaining to higher education.
