The tasks of the Ministry is to assume all aspects related to university education, applied and scientific research, and to use them to serve the society and improve it. It also sets the general framework for policies and plans for the development of higher education in both university and applied sectors. And encourage and coordinate the scientific research movement among the various educational bodies and institutions in the country.
