Higher Education Evaluation & Accreditation Council of Taiwan (HEEACT)

HEEACT is a government-funded national quality assurance (QA) agency. By conducting third-party external accreditation, HEEACT supports Taiwan HEIs in their endeavor to constantly improve on education quality. In addition to conducting the evaluation and accreditation for higher education institutions, HEEACT also studies both domestic and foreign QA systems, and supports the government in planning accreditation and QA mechanisms. Moreover, HEEACT provides QA professional training courses, disseminates QA-related information, and endeavors to expand the global visibility of Taiwan higher education. Within the organization, HEEACT continues to develop professionalism, service quality and the ability to be aligned with international quality assurance agencies.
