Founded in 2013, the ECLBS is a non-profit association. The goal of the ECLBS is to ensure that institutions of vocational and higher education in Europe and all over the world meet the highest internationally recommended level of quality. ECLBS has a board of trustees (from different countries) with their own terms of reference, representing state and private organizations.

CHEA's Mission

Council for Higher Education Accreditation serves its members, students, and society through advocacy for the value and

independence of accreditation, recognition of accrediting organizations and commitment to quality in higher education.
