Agence universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF)

AUF is the world's leading university network, with over 1,000 universities and scientific research centers from nearly 120 countries. Founded in 1961, the AUF is also the higher education and research operator for the Charter and Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Francophonie. Today, the AUF is a development aid organization focused on knowledge and understanding. Its primary mission is to think globally about the scientific Francophonie and act regionally while respecting diversity.
