Accreditor Leadership Roundtable 

The Accreditor Leadership Roundtable is a CHEA-led initiative that brings together accreditor presidents in an ongoing forum to strengthen communication, dialogue, leadership, and strategic engagement across accreditation. 

At a time of significant policy change and increased public attention to higher education, the Roundtable provides a structured space for accreditor leaders to engage on shared challenges, exchange perspectives, and advance a more aligned and informed national dialogue on academic quality and quality assurance. 

About the Roundtable 

The Accreditor Leadership Roundtable is designed as an action-oriented working group that convenes a small group of accreditor leaders on a regular basis. Through sustained engagement, the Roundtable supports: 

  • Exchange of perspective on emerging issues and shared priorities  
  • Strategic dialogue on the evolving role of accreditation in higher education  
  • Improved communication and understanding across accreditor types  
  • Greater public understanding of how accreditation supports academic quality, institutional improvement, and student success  

The Roundtable is not a governance body. It is a leadership forum intended to strengthen communication and dialogue and support the continued evolution of accreditation in a rapidly changing environment.
