International Higher Education is Driving a New Regional Order (University World News, September 23, 2023) The 30-year anniversary of the dissolution of the Soviet Union marked the internationalization of higher education as an important precursor in the formation of the new geopolitical order by introducing standardized admissions tests and participating in international assessments and accreditation systems.

NAAC Accreditation is a Must for Private Varsities Within Five Years of Establishment (Express News Service, September 17, 2023) The Gujarat Assembly on Saturday unanimously passed the Gujarat Private Universities (Second Amendment) Act, 2O23, amending Section 34 of the Gujarat Private Universities Act, 2009. With the amendment, private universities in the state will have to obtain accreditation from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) within five years of their establishment.
