CIQG Advisory Council

The advisory council consists of no more than 20 members from various academic and accreditation/quality assurance communities across the globe, reflecting diversity in geographic regions and expertise in international quality assurance, and include individuals from major multinational organizations that focus on higher education or quality assurance.  The advisory council guides CIQG’s strategic direction, membership development and projects.

Advisory Council Appointment and Composition
Advisory Council members are international experts appointed by CHEA to:

  • Serve in a voluntary capacity.
  • Represent a diversity of regions across the globe.
  • Represent diversity of gender, race, ethnicity.
  • Have demonstrated expertise in quality assurance and/or higher education accreditation (inter-)nationally.
  • Advocate for, and support, CIQG activities.

The CIQG Advisory Council shall meet periodically throughout the year. 

The Chair of CIQG is appointed by CHEA.  The CIQG Chair’s term will be no more than two years, except under special circumstances, as recommended by the CHEA president.
