Higher Education and Quality Assurance: What Should Change and What Remains the Same
The Capital Hilton Hotel
Colleges, universities, and accrediting organizations find themselves at a time of great change and adjustment. Issues stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic to emerging educational technologies and changes in the needs of students have meant that both institutions and their accreditors have needed to adapt rapidly and skillfully to new challenges and opportunities. Now is the time to ask: When it comes to assuring the quality of institutions and their educational offerings, as well as assessing that quality, what remains the same and what should change? The 2022 CHEA/CIQG Annual Conference will address a host of issues related to higher education quality assurance, from a variety of perspectives.
The 2022 CHEA/CIQG Annual Conference will be held both on-site at the Capital Hilton Hotel in Washington, DC and online, providing a range of participation options. This must-attend event regularly attracts hundreds of registrants from colleges and universities, accrediting organizations, higher education associations, government and media, from across the United States and around the world.
A pre-conference session conducted by the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (NC-SARA) will explore and articulate the roles, relationships and responsibilities in assuring quality post-secondary distance education in the 21st Century. The session is relevant to all participants interested in multi-state reciprocity and is offered at no cost to conference registrants (members and non-members). Separate pre-conference registration is available.
Don't miss the opportunity to take part in this vital conversation on higher education, accreditation and the future.
