CHEA and AGB Audio Conference on Accreditation and Governing
Boards
On April 1, 2010, the Council for Higher Education Accreditation
(CHEA) participated in an audio conference hosted by the Association
of Governing Boards of Universities and Colleges (AGB) to discuss
accreditation and governing boards. During the one-hour session, CHEA President Judith Eaton and AGB President Richard
Legon addressed engaging governing boards in the
accreditation process and discussed suggestions for effective practice
for presidents, board chairs, board members and faculty as they work
with accrediting organizations.
