Quality Cell to Monitor Higher Education (The Hindu [India], November 25, 2017) “Special Commissioner of Collegiate Education G. S. Panda Das on Friday said the role of the newly-constituted State-Level Quality Assurance Coordination Committee (SLQAC) was important as it was to monitor the quality enhancement in educational institutions and provide guidance to them to meet the accreditation standards and ranking parameters.”

IPM to Hold Ninth Education Quality Conference (Macau Daily Times, November 20, 2017) “The Macau Polytechnic Institute (IPM) and the Asia-Pacific Quality Network (APQN) are jointly organizing the 9th Higher Education International Conference on the New Developments of Teaching and Learning Quality Assurance in Higher Education this year. The conference seeks to share knowledge on the latest trends in international quality assurance and thereby advance the quality of higher education in Macau.”

UAE Ministry of Education Partners with British Agency to Uphold Quality Assurance in Higher Education(MENAFN, November 19, 2017) “The UAE Ministry of Education announced the signing of an agreement with the UK's Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA), demonstrating its ongoing commitment to quality assurance of higher education institutions in the UAE.”

The Politics of Quality Assurance in Higher Education (University World News, November 17, 2017) “In an age of mass and increasingly internationalised higher education, it has become the norm that both universities and quality assurance agencies are subject to external scrutiny. Yet it is becoming increasingly difficult to assess quality and to demonstrate the impact of external quality assurance.”
